Although I went to Harry, Carrie, and Garp, it does NOT count as meeting Jo Rowling, Stephen King, or John Irving. I want to make eye contact with Jo, have her sign something, and if I’m really luck, discuss characters, plot points, etc. I think I’d like to meet her after book 7 is released because then she won’t be able to spoil anything for me.

I met Andrew and the rest of the Leeaky & Mugglenet crew in NYC after the Harry, Carrie, and Garp event. He was nice, and they were all very cool signing people’s books, shirts, etc. at the HCG event and at the live LeakyMug at the Barnes & Noble.
